Why Edible Earth Farm

The farm operates one of the oldest and most innovative CSAs in Western PA. CSA sales account for over 98% of the farm's revenue. That means the CSA is their sole focus! Edible Earth Farm is the most diversified farm in Western PA raising organic fruit, organic vegetables, organic herbs, organic wild edibles, organic aromatherapy products, medicinal herbs, spices, organic mushrooms, pasture-raised chickens, beef and pigs, organic hay, organic jarred goods and dried food. The farm encourages you to join and become a member of their farm family. When you choose a farm who has such a strong commitment to their program, you don't have to worry about the best product going to markets or to restaurants. At Edible Earth Farm, all the product goes to its CSA members.

CSA Details

A Edible Earth Farm subscription gives members access to a large selection of fresh food, dried food and food related items including: meat, cheese, eggs, pasta, butter, dry goods, prepared foods, soups, coffee, teas and more.

Ordering is easy. Simply have your order in by Sunday, before the delivery, and the farm will harvest, wash, custom pack and delivery your order to your home. There is no obligation to buy. If you don't need anything for the week. Simply don't order.

Members receive 12% off during the annual May plant sale. During the season, members can buy bulk items at reduced prices. Because you're a member of a farm, prices are more stable and more affordable than the grocery stores or other food delivery services. The value you receive as an active participate easily offsets the subscription fee. No more forgotten pickups. Everything is delivered right to your door and you're supporing a local farm.

We recycle all packaging except plastic box liners and pulp egg cartons. Simply break it down, and leave it out for the driver to collect, when they deliver your next order.

CSA Pricing

The Edible Earth Farm Farm-to-Door subscription service is $119, when using our limited time coupon code. The season starts in June and runs till the 3rd week of October. Deliveries are weekly. Order minimum is just $49.

The subscription fee is an investment into the farm, in keeping with the CSA model. The farm uses the fee to fund seed, labor, energy and deliveries, to name only a few. The results of the farm's investment is made available to its subscribers, you! This small investment pays big rewards. Free home delivery, fresh food directly from the farm and the some lowest prices for organics in town.

While we encourage members to order every week, it is not required. Order what you want, when you want it.

One last incentive to join. :) Existing members will have the the ability to join our year-round, farm-to-door delivery service that starts in November of 2022 and runs through October of 2023. This is only opened to existing members.
